Contemporary Queen Anne Table in Mahogany
This mahogany dining table was built in a contemporary Queen Anne style for a customer who wanted a large, well-built table for their family. The base is made from solid mahogany. The base features modern cabriole legs, beaded aprons, and square pegs. The table top was constructed from solid mahogany and features breadboard ends. The overall size of this table is 84" x 38" x 30" high.
As with many of my tables, to ensure accurate period construction and details, the top of this table was built from a three board matched set (three boards cut sequentially from the same log for excellent color and grain matching). This represents a significant difference from readily available tables - the boards in this top were 13-14" wide with beautiful coloring and grain patterns. The table size, style, wood selection, and coloring can be customized to suit the customer's requirements.
